ispace Mission 1 – HAKUTO-R

Launched December 11th 2022 via SpaceX Falcon 9.

The ispace mission to Atlas Crater ended 8:00 a.m. JST, April 26, 2023, when the lander ran out of fuel, about 80 metres from its intended landing site. It most likely crashed.

The ispace Mission 1 is now registered as an Impact Zone by the Lunar Resources Registry and maps will be updated to reflect this.
