Location – Apollo 17 – Landing Module
The Apollo 17 Mission in 1972 was the final Moon landing of NASA‘s Apollo program.
It was also a key high point for Lunar exploration. One of the crew was a professional geologist, for science experiments five mice were carried in the command module, the missions lasted three days and included much activity, and 110.52 kilograms of regolith was returned to Earth.
